A forest at first light, an H monogram resting in the trees — Husbandry.

Creator network · Apply

A small bench of husbands writing the work aloud.

Husbandry is one voice held by a small network of fathers and husbands who would rather lose the punchline than lose the reframe. This page is where that bench reads applicants — your email, and one line on what you would write for a Husbandry Sunday.

Who this is for

Husbands and fathers. Honest, not hot.

The creator network is the channel's editorial bench — a few writers held to the same voice, the same handbook, the same Sunday rhythm. Two profiles the founder reads first.

  • 01

    Fathers and husbands

A dad who is doing the inner work in public — not auditioning for the parenting algorithm, not optimising for a thumbnail. The household is the venue; the writing is the practice.

  • 02

    Honest over hot

Writers who would rather lose the punchline than lose the reframe. A post that makes you laugh and forget what it said is not a Husbandry post — it is a clip.

What we look for

Three lines. Read them before you apply.

The creator network is small on purpose. The bench stays small so every writer gets an editor, a publishing rhythm, and a reading partner. Three things the founder reads for in every application.

  1. First-person storytelling. The kitchen table, not the character. The cut the husband keeps through Thursday.

  2. A real publish cadence. Four drops a month minimum, on a rhythm the founder can read with you, not against you.

  3. A reader you already serve. The women in your orbit, the dads in your circle, the friend who reads what you write before anyone else does.

And explicitly NOT this

The hands-off line, drawn early.

Drawing the line on day one is the reason the bench can read applicants quickly. If any of the below is your lane today, this is the wrong lane — and that is fine.

  • Comedy-first dad content — no sketches, no skits, no character voice as the default register.
  • Review or haul content — no product placements whose only goal is to clear inventory.
  • Hot-take punditry — no commentary ladder-climbing, no "reacting to the discourse of the week" on a Sunday slot.

Apply

Your email and one line.

That is the shape of the application — an inbox the founder can write back to, and one line on what you would publish on a Husbandry Sunday. A real human reads every one — usually by the next Sunday.

— The Husbandry team.

The creator network is held to the same editorial bar as the channel. Applicants hear back from the same inbox they wrote to, not a sequence.
